Digital Products
All items sold through this shop are digital downloads. No physical products are shipped. By making a purchase, you agree to the following terms:
Payment
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD). Payment is accepted via Interac e-Transfer and is considered complete once received. Orders are not processed or delivered until payment has been confirmed.
All Sales Final
Because these are digital goods, all sales are final. Once a file has been made available for download, no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be provided.
Delivery
Once payment is received, you will be sent a link to a private online gallery where you can download your purchased files. This gallery link remains active for 30 days from the date of delivery. If you need access after that window has closed, reach out to hello@christiefin.com and temporary access will be reopened for you.
Delivery Issues
If your download link isn't working, or a file arrives incomplete or corrupted, contact hello@christiefin.com and to have it corrected. This is not considered a refund request, and resolving it does not conflict with the all sales final policy above.
Copyright and Usage Rights
Copyright in all images remains with the photographer (Christie Finlayson of Christie Fin Photography) at all times. Purchasing a digital file does not transfer ownership or copyright. It grants you a license to use the image according to the terms outlined in the Digital Image Use policy on this page below. Use outside those terms is not permitted. You are purchasing a license to use the file, not ownership of the artwork itself.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that transaction.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan.

License Grant
Purchasing a digital image from this shop does not transfer copyright or ownership. Copyright remains with the photographer (Christie Finlayson of Christie Fin Photography) at all times. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the image under the terms below.
Permitted Uses
Your purchased files may be used for:
- Personal display, including printing for your home or personal albums
- Sharing on personal social media accounts and personal websites
- Personal digital use such as phone or desktop backgrounds
Photo Credit
When sharing a purchased image online, please provide credit to christiefin.com, @christiefin (Instagram), or Christie Fin Photography.
Printing
You're welcome to print your files at any lab of your choosing. Colour accuracy and print quality cannot be guaranteed, as results vary by lab and printer calibration.
Commercial Use
Commercial use of any kind is not permitted under this license. This includes use in advertising, branding, promotional materials, resale, merchandise, or any context where the image generates revenue for you or a third party. Reach out directly if you're interested in discussing a commercial license.
Restrictions
The following are not permitted under this license:
- Reselling or redistributing the original files with others
- Removing or altering any watermark, if present
- Using the images to create derivative products for sale
No Further Editing
Purchased images represent the final creative and technical output of the photographer's work. You agree not to alter, retouch, edit, or otherwise modify the images prior to sharing, printing, or distributing them, whether through software, mobile apps, artificial intelligence (AI) tools, or any other means. This includes filters, colour or exposure adjustments, retouching, and the use of generative AI to alter, extend, or reinterpret the images. The only exception is cropping required to meet a platform's display ratio (such as Instagram or Facebook), which is permitted. Any modification of the images may misrepresent the photographer's artistic and technical work, and altered images should not be attributed to or represented as the photographer's original work.
