What you can expect with me and my camera

I like to shoot documentary style. I want you to look back at your photos and remember how the day felt. Usually that comes from me being a quiet observer, letting you be. But don't worry, I also get involved and give as much direction as you need and feel comfortable with.

I'm currently based in Regina, Saskatchewan, but my heart is in BC.

I'm always willing to travel anywhere.

My style

I want to capture how that day, at that time of your life, made you feel.

I want you to see yourself as you are; someone you recognize, but someone you look back on with kind eyes.

I love faceless portraits; they show pure connection.

I love capturing you mirin' your loved one when they're not looking.

My inspiration

Photos that stick with me are more gritty, imperfect, often blurry or grainy, warm, and emotional.

Your "say cheese!" smile is beautiful, but your tear-filled gasping-for-breath laughing face is the best photo.

Analog just hits different - I love shooting in film.

My loves

Rock climbing.

Soft serve vanilla ice cream.

My nieces.

Watching a show I've seen 1,000 times.

I also really just love love.

My experiences

My first grown-up job was as a travel photographer for a tour company in Thailand.

I have 4 tattoos: 2 dogs, 1 bird, and the Catbus from My Neighor Totoro.

I lived in a self-built van and I miss it dearly.
